- wH2O is a new initiative at the University of Pennsylvania that publishes an annual online, open-access academic journal and blog focused on gender and water/sanitation issues worldwide. Submissions for the Fall 2013 issue accepted until May 15th, 2013.

Women in Water Gala in DC Benefiting Water for People!
The Water For People DC Committee is proud and excited to present the 2011 “Women in Water Gala” to benefit Water for People. The Gala will take place in Washington, D.C., on June 13, 2011, and will bring together members of the water industry and the Washington, D.C., decision-making, policy, philanthropic and business communities. The theme, “Women in Water” is an important one. In developing countries women and children walk miles each day to secure water for their families and villages, often preventing them from earning an income or education. Continue reading
