We are thrilled to announce that the 6th Annual Philadelphia Global Water Initiative Conference on Gender and Water: Leading Beyond the Burden, held at The Wharton School on April 9th 2013, was a complete success. wH2O is proud to have been a co-sponsor and would like to extend many thanks to all the organisers, speakers and volunteers for their excellent work. A proceedings report will be coming out in early May. An online version will be available on the website as well.
The second issue of the journal has been published! It is currently in a limited print edition at the University of Pennsylvania. It is also available for online reading here. Individual papers will be available shortly for download.
We would like to thank our board, editors, authors and everyone else who has been involved in producing the second issue. If you would like a print copy mailed to you for a suggested donation of $40, please contact us as wh2ojournal@sas.upenn.edu.
We are accepting submissions until May 15, 2013 for Vol. 3. No 1. which will be published in Fall 2013. If you are interested in joining the initiative as a board member or as an editor, please email wh2ojournal@sas.upenn.edu. Click “Submit” to learn more about what types of pieces we accept and publish.

If you have a response to one of the journal articles that you would like to submit for the next issue, please submit it to wh2ojournal@sas.upenn.edu with the header “Article Response”.
